About Us

Get to Know ROK.

Practical tools and accessories for the people who build, fix and maintain things every day — from a family that has been behind a hardware counter for generations.

Who We Are

Fifty Years of Practical Products.

ROK is the tool brand of Holland Imports Inc., a family-owned Canadian wholesaler that has spent more than fifty years putting dependable products in the hands of Canadians.

Today that means everything a job or a weekend project calls for: hand tools and power tool accessories, striking tools, measuring and layout tools, gloves, traffic safety and PPE, and magnets — carried by hardware stores and building supply retailers from coast to coast.

Our Roots

It Started Behind a Hardware Counter.

In the 1920s, C.G. Punjani opened a general store in Kisumu, Kenya, supplying farms and families with the tools and everyday goods that kept land productive. His motto — people with service — is still the simplest description of how we work.

In the early 1970s the family moved to Vancouver, started again behind the counter of a small hardware store, and eventually bought it. Some days the till took in less than forty dollars. They kept going.

Our Story

From One Counter to Canadian Job Sites.

1920s

A Family Store

C.G. Punjani opens a general store in Kisumu, Kenya, stocking the tools, seed and everyday essentials farms and rural crews counted on. His motto: people with service.

1970s

Roots in Canada

The Punjani family settles in Coquitlam, BC and takes over a neighbourhood hardware store — the counter where everything that followed got started.

1973

Holland Imports Inc.

Seeing a gap for quality products at fair prices, the family begins importing directly and Holland Imports is born.

What We Stand For

Made for the Way Canadians Work.

Built for the Way Canadians Work

Prairie cold snaps, coastal rain, prairie dust and long summer days on site. Every product is chosen for the way Canadians actually work.

Made to Last the Job — and Then Some

Tools picked for real work on real sites and real weekends — not just for the shelf.

Ready When the Job Is

Our BC distribution keeps retailers stocked through the busiest build season, so the aisle is full when the crew needs a tool today.

Partners, Not Just Suppliers

We work alongside independent hardware stores, building supply yards and national retailers to build the right tool program.

An Assortment That Grows

Hand tools, accessories, striking tools, measuring and layout tools, gloves, traffic safety and PPE, and magnets — expanded every season with what tradespeople ask for.

Still a Family Business

Three generations on, the same values run the company: integrity, hard work and customers who come back.

Our Vision

More Canadians, Getting It Done.

A first deck. A bathroom reno. A jobsite that's finally wrapped. We want the tools in between to be the easy part — dependable, well-priced and on the shelf when the work starts.
